Connecting your systems

Can Claude answer questions from Jewel360?

A simple, honest guide for owners on Jewel360 about whether Claude can work with it, and what would have to be true first.

No supported path yetApplies to Jewel360 · Claude

Short answer

Not yet, and not on your own. Jewel360 runs in the cloud, and as of September 2026 it does not publish a public API. Because it is cloud software, it also has no on-premise export the way The Edge does. That leaves no path we can set up by ourselves today. Connecting Claude to Jewel360 would take a supported arrangement with Jewel360. Once such a path exists, the same secure gateway we run for other systems would let Claude answer questions about your store, read-only. We would rather tell you that plainly than describe a connection that is not there.

An owner who runs the store on Jewel360 and wants a straight answer on whether Claude can work with it, and what would have to be true first.

  • A supported data path from Jewel360: either an API they open to partners, or an export they provide. This is the missing piece today.
  • A Claude account for each person who would ask questions.
  • The access you want each role to have.
  • Someone to build the connection and run the gateway once a path is available. That would be us.
  1. The path. Jewel360 would give us a supported way to read your data, an API or an export they sanction. Nothing about this reaches around the product or its vendor.
  2. The gateway. Claude would reach that data through a secure gateway built on MCP, with read-only lookups for inventory, custom orders, and repairs.
  3. The people. Owner, manager, and associate would each carry their own permissions.
  4. The limit that stays. Read-only first: nothing would write back to Jewel360 before you turned it on.

It can

  • Once a supported path exists, answer about inventory, custom orders, and repairs, as far as your permissions allow.
  • Once a supported path exists, run behind the same gateway, read-only first, that we operate for other systems.

It cannot (today)

  • Connect on its own today. There is no public API and no on-premise export to build on.
  • Read your Jewel360 data through any path we can set up without Jewel360's involvement.
  • Be described with a mechanism that does not exist. We will not pretend a path is there.

Jewel360’s own product information describes a cloud system with no public API, and being cloud, there is no on-premise export either. So neither the export path we run for The Edge nor an API connection is available to build on. The missing piece is a supported path from the vendor, and until there is one, there is nothing for us to connect to honestly.

A supported path from Jewel360: a partner API, or an export they sanction. If one exists that we have not found, tell us and we will evaluate it. The gateway that would carry the connection is proven; the vendor path is what it waits on.

EvidenceSupported capability under gate

Jewel360’s own product information describes a cloud system with no public API access, which is why there is no self-serve path for us to build today. The gateway pattern that would carry the connection, read-only tools and per-person permissions, is in production on The Edge, which we last verified running on August 27, 2026. The pattern is proven. For Jewel360, the missing piece is a supported path from the vendor, and we will not describe one that does not yet exist.
